About
Johnny Goth is an independent singer, songwriter, and producer based in Los Angeles, California.
Since the release of his debut album Far Away in 2017, Johnny has cultivated a signature sound blending indie-acoustic dreampop with a haunting undercurrent. Projects like October and Let Them In further explored this ethereal yet unsettling aesthetic, laying the foundation for a shift toward darker, more cinematic territory.
By 2020, that evolution culminated in The Great Awakening—a record described as "fit to soundtrack the apocalypse." Reflecting the chaos of the times, Johnny leaned deeper into heavy, horror-infused production, a direction that intensified with 2022’s Under The Floor, a blistering album meant to feel like “entering the gates of hell.” That same year, his track “Come 2 Me” was featured in the film Halloween Ends, solidifying his presence in the world of alternative horror music.
In 2023, Johnny released the Haunt Me EP, a cinematic return from the grave that featured a music video of a decayed Johnny wandering a haunted estate. Shortly after, in 2024, a bleach-blonde transformation marked his return to dream-pop with All Is Lost—a ghostly beach record combining nostalgic melancholy with modern edge.
Johnny continues to explore genre-fluid territory while preparing what may be his most ambitious project yet, expected in 2025–2026. 🎪
Entirely self-managed and independent from any label, Johnny Goth remains a singular force crafting on his own terms.
